I stayed @ Debenham Lodge back in May this year for a weekend with girlfriends, we had a fabulous stay, the house is gorgeous great for a group/ Family and or Friends, beautifully decorated and in a great location for all the amenities in Margate. The house is exceptionally clean and comes with a bonus that each room has an en suite. Kate is a fabulous host the welcome basket very much appreciated.Thanks .. look forward to returning at some point.
We had a brilliant time at this wonderful home . So much fun in the Loch Inn - Loved the decor . Great location There were 14 of us and we were all so comfortable. Garden is a perfect sun trap . . Kate was fantastic to deal with . Thank you .
We had a wonderful stay at Debenham Lodge, if I could give it 6 stars I would!!! We stayed for 4 night for my partner’s birthday last month and had an amazing stay! The host Kate was fantastic throughout, she responded quickly to all our queries and helped us to plan our trip to Margate. When we told her it was our first visit she made lots of suggestions for things to do with the family and also made recommendations on where to visit and eat. She was also flexible on arrival and departure times which was a massive help! The property is just fabulous, the rooms are a decent size and it’s beautifully decorated. Lots of little homely touches around the house made us all feel comfortable and at home. Oh and the bar was most definitely appreciated by the adults!! :) Thank you so much to Kate and her team from all our family. We will definitely be back next year!!
Kate was a great host, ensured we had all the information we needed. The house was clean and spacious, such a bonus everybody having an en-suite and all being able to have hot showers at the same time. It was a multi generational celebration and everybody from age 6-76 had a great time. It’s perfect for large groups and we’ve had a brilliant weekend. We would definitely go back. Thank you
We had a wonderful stay at Debenham Lodge. The house is large and warm, and we felt at home there. The house is not a new build, its not clean lined and pristine, it is however a large Victorian house which holds its charm and originality which is very prevalent to that era. Infact, it's something that we all loved with our time spent there. It was a welcomed surprise to have the privilege to stay somewhere that is not ruined by modernality. Thankyou Kate, we will be back next year, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Debenham Lodge.
I have had the pleasure of staying at Debenham Lodge a couple of times now. Both stays were amazing. I made the most of the sea at the end of the road and swam on both occasions. I enjoy the seafront walks to and from Margate and enjoy many excellent restaurants and bars there, and within the immediate vicinity of Debenham Lodge. On the occasions we did not go out we made full use of the kitchen and the Loch Inn, great for our friends with young children that were unable to go out in the evenings. All rooms in Debenham Lodge are beautifully decorated and very comfortable, all with great facilities. I highly recommend Debenham Lodge.
The house is just a stone throw away from the sea, and the most perfect location for a quick dip in the morning. The house was big enough to cater for a group of friends, and we used the outside area in the evening for drinks. We didn't spend much time in the house as it was a lovely day outside, but when we did, the kitchen was big enough for us to move around easily, with a large enough fridge to cater for all. Kate was a great host and very efficient when responding to our many questions. Thank you.
A group of us stayed at Debenham Lodge for a birthday weekend recently and what a gem! Absolutely adored the eclectic decor, welcoming feel and modern vibe given to this 8 bedroom Victorian house. The host, Kate has thought of everything possible and was a pleasure to deal with. We loved the Loch Inn pub at the back - it’s perfect for entertaining. The bedrooms were super comfy so we slept really well and no doubt will be back!
